patience

Hello again!

It's been a while since I've posted anything, I've just been busy trying to get my life in order before I leave Utah...

I've had so much fun the past few days that it's making my sadder and sadder to leave my home, but at the same time some things make me want to leave right now! It's something that I am excited to learn though...patience...

Patience with the children, with myself, with answers, with others, with money, with everything...it's something I'd like to have figured out before I get as old as dirt that's for sure! It makes me laugh at how much I want to accomplish before I pack up and leave but there is just not enough time...being with the people I love is enough I suppose :)

Tomorrow through Monday is going to be a blast and a half! Park City with my favorites!

I can't wait to get on the plane guys!

Lola and Bella...

Hey All!

Sorry it's been a while since I have updated, but just a few little things need to be said...

Number 1 ; I'm currently watching over Susan's Pomeranians. (She's a wonderful woman that I work with! Love her to pieces!) Lola and Bella are their names...Bella is white and Lola is black. I personally love Bella more cause she looks like a stuffed animal! LOVE IT! She's right here! Isn't she just adorable?! Shalese and I are having a Chuck Season 2 Party...I need to get caught up before season 3 comes out on DVD! AH!!

Number 2 ; I had a BLAST at Flaming Gorge with the Jordans! I love them soooo much! They are like my second family! I'm going to miss them so much when I move to Manhasset, but I'll always have them with my in some way! Cell phones make life so easy sometimes! :)

Number 3 ; It hasn't entirely hit me yet that I'm going to be moving away from Utah...Utah is my home, it's where I found Jesus, met my best friends in the entire world, found out that I wanted to be Massage Therapist, found out that you can't just rely on yourself, found out that in order to love someone you have to accept them for all that they are...it's tough to leave my home, but Heaven sure knows that I need to! It's so exciting, nerve racking and surreal that it's going to take the actual plane ride to make me want to turn back home. I won't though, this is something that you don't get every day...

Burnt!

If you were to ask me what the perfect trip is, I'd say...

4 Days, 3 Nights at a lake with the best family in the world! I love the Jordans!
We had a boat, a camper, a fire, food and best of all...I had my best friend Kiersten there with me!

After all that fun I come home to find my room had flooded while I was away...but that's alright! Sharla, (my friends mother...the people I currently live with...) took care of it AND did my laundry! How kind!

I hope that I can be as great as that when I'm a nanny!

Fun in the Sun :)

Hey all!

Tomorrow, (or tonight since it's one in the morning...) I will be camping with the Jordans at Flaming Gorge! JEALOUS aren't you?

Well what I am getting at is no blogging until SUNDAY, which I'm pretty sure I can manage since I'm new at this....

Hope you all have a great weekend!

Finally! A Fresh Start!

I'm Terry Lynn, and it's ridiculous how much life can change in an instant...

Take me, for example. I'm a normal, well-rounded, almost 20-years-of-age college student currently living in Layton, Utah. I'm a Latter Day Saint, or as you non-believers would say, a "Mormon"...

(No, I do not have horns, and no, I am not married to a man with 100 wives...)

July 12th, 2010 was a day that will change my life forever, and the opportunity to shine and show my abilities was finally here! A fresh start! An amazing experience that would change me for the better!...I'm going to be a LIVE-IN NANNY! *cue epic music*

I know I know, there must be millions of blogs out there about live-in nannies, and how their lives are going taking care of the little tikes here and there...but my blog is definitely going to be different....or at least up to par.

Let's face reality, I probably won't have too much time to update for you, but when I do I know that my family, friends, and all the people out there looking into being a live-in nanny would like to hear about my sorrows, broken bones, and last by not least, my adventures of taking care of children whom I know will impact my life WAY more than I will theirs...

August 4th 2010 is the day I embark on this adventure, will you please humor me and keep up with my tears, laughs, and growing?
