Anywho. Today was chill, and absolutely cloudy. I loved it. I think that the sun can just hide for a couple more days while my skin heals from it's burning rays...haha.
Anyway, Megan and Caroline weren't home this morning, they were at their grandparents. So that left me with Grace and Taylor basically. Grace was being so helpful today I appreciated it sooo much! For the first hour or so, Taylor always wants to just get away from me. I try to distract her but she won't have any of it! Haha! Grace is good for that part, but once she starts to have fun I'm just another fun person to play with for her. So that's good! We played all sorts of games today, like "Ice-Cream Shoppe". Haha! She basically shoved her hands in my mouth screaming "Ice Cream!" and I pretended to eat it. Haha! Good times! Then we played "Eat the Crabs!" Which was all her doing...she just started saying "Eat the Crabs! Eat the Crabs!" and started to claw at the couch and put invisible crabs in her mouth! Haha! She's such a funny little girl! Taylor has definitely taught me patience...this job isn't like every other job, you're actually helping the children learn and you don't rush to get through the work day, you just play and learn with them. It's so nice to know that what I'm doing now I'll be doing for the rest of my life...(once I become a mother, of course haha)
I had FHE tonight, and I got SO lost getting to the church again...I think the only reason I keep getting lost is because I am too confident in my direction skills. Then I end up in some scary neighborhood! Haha! Oh well, I'll learn the streets soon! Exploring (aka getting lost) is really fun, cause I just see more and more of Long Island!
I've been in a weird mood lately, I think it's just home sickness. I'm doing a really good job of not letting it get to me by keeping in contact with my friends and family, but one of these days I'm gonna have a break down I can already see it! It really helps though because the Amatos are such chill and laid back people (even though they have kids running around everywhere and very busy jobs!) it's nice to see that I'm not the only one who is busy or is getting frustrated...it's just going day by day and soon the days won't have to be counted down...
Have a fabulous night my few readers.
