This morning I slept in while everyone was going to the pool for a swim meet. Caroline got first in her age group I guess and they were all excited about it! :)
They came home and we all got ready and went to the country club. It was funny, cause right when we get there Teresa says "Okay, so it's pretty up tight here but the people aren't. Ya cant use your cell phone around the pool, you have to go in the locker room. And Taylor can't go in the big pool. And Megan can't order food by herself. And Tommy is here but he's never here so you'll get to meet him. And....I guess that's it." I thought to myself...uhm I'm going to fail horribly at this. Haha!
After sitting around for a bit I followed Taylor around, the 2 year old. We walked around the pool, went down to the play ground-ish type area, and she didn't actually get in the kiddie pool until we walked around for 3 hours! She swam for like 13 minutes then we went out and explored some more. We dug holes in the dig, collect rocks, played 'basketball' (by which she just threw this huge ball at me), I met her friends Jillian and Nicolas...who are also like 2 and 3. That was a great conversation! What do I say to kids that young? Oh hey so did you hear about barney? yeah he's in jail now. What?!
Anywho we got home around 6 so we were swimming for a good 5-6 hours. It was nuts how long they stay at the pool! I can tell I'm going to be black by time this month is over. Which is fine with me! Haha!
I'm scared though, I hope this wasnt more than I could handle, cause I'm starting to get stressed out just thinking about it!!
Well everyone is going to Teresa's dad's house for his birthday dinner and I think I might go...
